Great Fen 2013
—International competition, Cambridgeshire (UK)
A cluster of habitable mounds that don’t disturb the Fen landscape… carefully embedded into a pattern of canals, bathing ponds, reed-beds and meandering paths. The mounds are linked by a submerged communal space to observe the visitors and the landscape beyond. Devices and ‘agents’ are scattered throughout the Great Fen and project the flora and fauna into the visitor centre through an array of prisms, mirrors and lenses.
Exhibited in Brighton.
Competition team: Stefan Lengen, Kyriakos Katsaros, Thais Espersen, Alya El Chiati, Kimon Fakidis, Max Letvenenko
