Realisation Lecture Series
The Design Realisation Lecture Series offers a range of experimental architectural practices that combine tacit knowledge and innovation to open up a new kind of architecture.
This Lecture Series will equip students with new tools, technologies and ways of thinking so that their initial research questions ideas might be expressed on a macro and micro scale. The series seeks to address some of the fundamental social, cultural, economic, environmental, ecological, and legislative challenges, which face designers today. This responds to real world constraints and opportunities that can empower the creative delivery from concept to reality. The role and demands upon architecture and the architect are always evolving. It is important that we open a dialogue with students, staff and practice to address the challenges of the climate crisis with effective and imaginative design realisations in the present and in the future.
