The challenge is to unlock the Rotunda from its current state of inertia and provide an urban platform that is intense, industrious and fantastically dynamic.
The proposed submerged urban park reinstalls parts of the initial square as a series of green ‘islands’, coffee houses, ponds, contemporary art platforms: many of these have places for performances in a variety of configurations.
